Professional Qualifications

Antony Ayton BA (Hons)(Psychology) MBACP has been counselling for over 18 years. He obtained his first counselling qualification with Marlow Pastoral Foundation, an affiliate of WPF,one of the country's leading counselling organisations. He then took an honours degree in psychology at the Open University, followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Marital and Couple Counselling from the former London Marriage Guidance Council now known as Relationship Counselling for London, part of The Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships . He also has a Certificate in Life Coaching from Newcastle College.

Antony is bound by the codes of conduct of both the British Psychological Society and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

A Free First Consultation

Antony is experienced in most areas of counselling, offering a free first session where issues can be explored in order to see whether or not he considers himself to be properly qualified to deal with the problem presented. If he doesn't, he will suggest other avenues more suited to the need of the client. At this first session the client too has the opportunity to decide whether or not Antony is the sort of person they feel comfortable with - before commiting to the payment of a fee.
